Roberts Creek is a lovely place to visit.
The list of instructions was very unwelcoming. The rule about eating only at the kitchen table was difficult to follow, as it was a small bistro-style table, and it was hard to cram 4 adults around it. Our bed wasn't particularly comfortable, and it squeaked loudly when we moved. There was a very unpleasant smell from the basement area. The fireplace was blocked off to prevent usage, and there was no wood to burn (would have been nice to have a fire on a rainy evening). The driveway was difficult to find, as the street number was not visibly posted. Finally, the note in the bathroom instructing the gentlemen to sit on the toilet (to pee) was over-the-top insulting.
The hosts were very pleasant and welcoming. The cottage was the perfect size for our party of four, and was very private. It was very quiet at night. The big deck was very pleasant.

Needed more towels. Musty odor from unfinished lower level.
Comfortable beds, lovely decor Fairly close to the water and a nice park.
